The newest employee!

After a long search for employment, Brad landed a position with Waste Management Recycling. With what we read about the company, we couldn't be more thrilled! We are so excited for all the opportunities this will bring. Brad will be working 39-42 hours a week, working Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. In the event he wants extra hours, he can choose to also pick up extra shifts on Wednesday and Saturday. They mentioned to him that he could work all the overtime he wanted. What a blessing! Meaning, that if there is a bill, or something a little extra we want or need, he can work a little overtime to provide for that need that week. He will get paid every Friday. The position also comes with full benefits, and a lot of company perks.

Brad is  hoping to drive for the recycling center for a couple years, and then be able to move up into a management or supervisory position. We are elated with all the blessings that have come this week.

Brad will start out here in the city for a week, and then be flown to Tampa, FL for corporate training for two weeks. He will even be gone for our ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Although we are a little bummed to not spend our first anniversary together - we are excited about all these opportunities that will come from being employed by such a wonderful company.

I could tell at first Brad wasn't as excited about the position as I was, but as we talked about all the possibilities and perks to this job, I think he really started to open up, and appreciate all that Waste Management could offer. He has worked so hard in Safety and Compliance, that Waste Management will appreciate all his knowledge and expertise. 

We really couldn't be more blessed at this time. Paid weekly, great pay, full benefits, only four days a week? Awesome.

I have a couple interviews lined up this week as well. Hoping to walk out with a job offer as well:)
