Road Trip - Canadian Rockies

The Morning Fog - Couldn't see but maybe a quarter mile out the front, and nothing out the sides! This is the Liard River Bridge.

The fall colors are to die for!

We even got to see the mountain goats. It made us so mad though, we were slowly following behind them for about a mile, then a car came flying up behind us, and rather then looking as to why we were going so slow, they fly around and pass! Scaring the little babies. So sad.

But eventually the caught up with the rest of their family!

With my wildlife spotting eyes, I spotted a Caribou near Muncho lake, we were too far away, so brad slowed down and took a picture out his window on the drivers side. I thought - interesting? A lone Caribou?

Then we found the herd. A few miles up the road, we found the entire herd. It was awesome. They were all over the road, and there was a safe pull off for Brad to get the truck and trailer off the road, and we could safely get out of our rig to take photos!

We were so close! IT WAS AWESOME!

Look how BIG he is!

It was an awesome experience. The Canadian Rockies is where we normally see the brunt of the wildlife. We saw goats, caribou, and even a bear, but we were coming downhill, too fast, and brad couldn't safely slow fast enough for me to get a picture, and there was no where for us to safely turn around. . . so we took a mental picture of the large black bear on the side of the road, roaming the grasses.
