Barbados - 3rd Port

Barbados was fantastic. The day was beautiful, and so we decided rather then shopping or a tour, we would test out the local beaches. We grabbed a cab and headed to a nearby beach. We rented an umbrella and two beach chairs and enjoyed the sunshine. About every fifteen minutes we had to go jump in the water to cool off. It was a hot but gorgeous day!  We loved the beaches in Barbados, and would definitely love to go back and see more. The area we arrived too, and the drive the taxi took us on appeared to be very clean, and a nice place to visit. The nicest, least run-down town we had seen thus far (compared to Antigua and St. Lucia) It was a relaxing day, we got some sunshine, and enjoyed each others company.

Just the two of us tanning at the beach:)

After laying in the sun and swimming over the course of a four hour period, we decided it was time to go back to the ship and clean up for dinner. Because it had been a long relaxing day, we came to the conclusion we wouldn't get all dressed up for dinner. We planned to just dress in casual clothing, and hit the buffet. Sometimes on vacation, it's okay to have a relaxation day! Isn't that Princess's motto as the consummate host...To Escape Completely!
