The last port of the first cruise, and the first port of the second cruise was the Princess Cays. It is a privately owned beach (by Princess of course) equipped with 3000 beach chairs, clean restrooms, and little tiki bars to serve sodas and juice. In the middle of the day, they have two facilities that serve a buffet lunch as well (inclusive with the cruise). It is clean, beautiful, and a wonderful way to just relax and end/begin your cruise.
When we originally got off the ship - first thing in the morning to get a good seat - we were a little concerned about the overcast sky. We got to know one of the bar stewards pretty well - and since he knew my soda and mock-tail order, he was constantly bringing Brad and I drinks without even asking. Talk about going above and beyond. Sometimes on the beach, it's such a hassle to dig out my card to show them I purchased the kids beverage package. We asked our friend if it was going to clear up - jokingly -and he mentioned it is like this every time they are in port. It usually clears up in the early afternoon, so we decided to keep our heads up, and hope for the sun to come out.

We enjoyed the Princess Cays, and although there isn't much there, it's nice to have a simple beach day, soak up the sun, and cool off in the crystal blue waters!
